A Citi FM journalist says an MP and supporters punched and kicked him
The attack happened while he was covering party parliamentary primaries in Yendi.

Citi FM's Mohammed Aminu Alabira told the Committee to Protect Journalists that a sitting Member of Parliament and party supporters punched and kicked him while he reported on parliamentary primaries in Yendi.
Primaries are among the most dangerous assignments for Ghanaian reporters, because the people involved are contesting for power and the police presence is thin.
No public account of any disciplinary or criminal consequence followed.
