MPs reintroduce a bill to criminalise witchcraft accusations
A private member's bill would outlaw accusations and the activities of witchfinders. Earlier versions never became law.

Five Members of Parliament reintroduced the Anti-Witchcraft Accusations Bill, which would criminalise accusing a person of witchcraft and outlaw the practice of witchfinding, Ghanaian outlets reported.
A month earlier, the Local Government Minister said government was considering adopting the sponsor's bill.
Previous versions passed Parliament but did not complete the process into law. Amnesty International has repeatedly called the delay a failure to protect people whose lives are at risk.
